Company History

In 1988 we were asked to design and build fibre packing machinery for Drum Packaging, during which time we manufactured and installed complete factory turnkey operations into Chile, Phillipines, Thailand and Nelson. More recently, McCannics has completed fibre drum machinery operations as mentioned earlier for the American food industry. While still housed at Manutuke the firm took on the Enzed franchise, which it still maintains, therefore able to provide the added service of the best quality hoses and fittings available. With the substantial growth that the business experienced and a large amount of the work coming from local industry it became necessary for the business to move into Gisborne. It was at this time that a Company was formed.
